Dallas Southern Pride, also known as DSP, is an amazing celebration of the cultural heritage and LGBTQ+ community of Dallas, Texas. This annual event has become a beloved tradition for many of the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) community in the area.

Festival - June 19 - 22

Set over the weekend commemorating June 19th, the festival includes socials, dance parties, the famous pool event, brunch, and tons of unity get togethers for the BIPOC LGBTQ+ communities.

History

It all began in 1997 when a small gathering of Black LGBTQ+ individuals came together to party and hang out with one another. As the years continued, the community demanded a more formalized celebratory weekend with a host hotel, organized parties/events, and shows to provide a safe space for this community gathering.
