Trans Resistance March & Festival 2025 Boston

Formed in June 2020 by this collective of trailblazing individuals, Trans Resistance emerged from years of grappling with the Boston Pride board's trans-exclusionary ways. They simply couldn't tolerate being left out of the process, vision, and work that shaped their own community. No sir, they were here to represent the awe-inspiring TQBIPOC (that's Trans, Queer, Black, Indigenous People of Color) community of Boston and beyond!

Since its inception, Trans Resistance has grown bigger, bolder, and more magical than ever. They've teamed up with a myriad of community organizations, spreading love and support to the Trans and Queer folks who need it most. You name it, they're there! Wherever support is needed, wherever advocacy is demanded, Trans Resistance shows up in all its glorious splendor.

Not only do they organize an unforgettable March and Festival every June, but they also know the importance of paying tribute to their community. In November, they light up the night with a powerful vigil, honoring the Transgender Day of Remembrance. And in late March, they join forces with other incredible organizations to acknowledge the Transgender Day of Visibility, shining a spotlight on the resilience and strength of the Transgender community.

Trans Resistance is a force of nature, a grassroots movement powered by the love and generosity of individuals and organizations alike. Their annual events, these marvelous expressions of unity and celebration, rely solely on the support they receive. Every dollar donated helps them continue their essential work, ensuring that their community always has a place to call home.
