Hold onto your wigs and fasten those lashes because Big Drag Brunch at Halcyon on 4th Street in Austin is about to serve you a Saturday like no other! Every week the team works hard to curate a unique and exciting show featuring local talent from all over Austin. You roll in at 1:30 pm, sippin' on your mimosa while eyeing that exclusive brunch menu, and by 2 pm, the queens take the stage, turning your average weekend into a high-heeled, glitter-filled extravaganza!

The show is inclusive and welcomes everyone with a diverse cast of trans, BIPOC, and queer entertainers. Hosted by the fabulous Maxine LaQueene, this Austin staple has been twice nominated for "Best Drag Showcase" in the Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin, and honey, it’s no surprise! With a rotating cast that’s starrier than the Texas night sky—including Adrienne Park, Jayden Daniels, Asami, and Mars Morningstar—you’re in for a show that’s as fierce as it is fabulous. Oh, and did we mention the surprise guest performances? Yes, sweetie, it’s that kind of party.

The Iron Bear is a bar for Bears by Bears but their doors are open to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community - Men, Women, Cubs, Chubs, Chasers, Admirers, Otters, Wolves, Bears and any other assorted woodland creatures! There are weekly events such as trivia nights, karaoke, and even beer busts for you thirsty beer lovers. So, if you want some hairy, fun, and party time in your live, stop in here. Rain on 4th is one of the more popular LGBTQ+ dance spots and is located in the heart of the Warehouse District. Rain features live music, an energetic dance floor on the weekends, and even hosts the longest-running, all-male amateur strip off in the city. Oilcan Harry's is probably one of Austin's busiest LGBTQ+ venues in the city, mostly popular with students from local universities. Oilcan Harry's busiest days are usually from Thursday to Sunday and usually skews younger. Harry's has a great happy hour, lots of avid party-goers, and a very energetic atmosphere.
