New Orleans Pride 2025

Be a part of the multi-day event in the French Quarters of New Orleans for New Orleans Pride to show off the LGBTQ+ community’s love, hope, and diversity—and of course, our commitment to having an amazing time. In all seriousness though, this is the chance to promote, loudly and proudly, self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, and visibility where and when it counts.

Pride Festival - June 13 - 15

Typically parties kick off on Friday night of the Pride Weekend and continue through to the closing Sunday parties.

Phoenix Bar’s Pride Fest is the place to be on the Saturday of New Orleans Pride! Starting at 10:30 am and going strong until 5 pm, this all-day extravaganza takes over every inch of the Phoenix Bar grounds—inside and out. With a full bar, a beer trailer, and booths supporting local charities, you’ll stay refreshed while giving back. And let’s talk about the crowd! Expect a parade of hot men, from gogo daddies to a packed Eagle bar that’s always a vibe. Live performances, guest DJs, and the best Pride energy make this event a must-see, and the party spills into three city blocks, drawing over 6,500 celebrants. So, whether you’re here for the shows or the eye candy, it’s a Pride bash you don’t want to miss!

Pride Parade - Saturday, June 14

Typically held on the final Saturday night of Pride, the New Orleans Gay Pride Parade is a night-time procession and kicks off at 6 pm and runs until 10 pm. The departure point is outside the Phoenix bar. The parade continues down Elysian Fields Avenue for a couple of blocks, on to Decatuer Street, across Espalande Avenue, turning at Royal Street, then on to Barracks Street to North Rampart Street. It continues along to Contin Street turning on to Bourbon Street, then turning on St Louis Street to Burgandy Street before turning at St. Ann Street, back on to Bourbon Street ending by Cafe Lafitte. Afterwards, all the NOLA LGBTQ+ bars and clubs throw Pride events, so get ready to party it up.

New Orleans Gay Bars to Check Out

Napoleon’s Itch

A staple for strong drinks and even stronger karaoke game. The patio is perfect for people-watching, and the energy is always welcoming and just the right amount of wild.

Good Friends Bar

Classy, cozy, and camp all at once—this multi-level bar with its famous Queen’s Head Pub is perfect for sipping on a Separator while judging the foot traffic from the balcony. Karaoke nights are a must.

The Page

A staple for New Orleans’ Black LGBTQ+ community and beyond. Laid-back but always lit, this spot is all about good vibes, great beats, and cheap drinks without the Bourbon Street chaos.

The Corner Pocket

Dancers on the bar, bingo in the back—this place doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s what makes it so fun. It’s cheeky, flirty, and unforgettable (unless you overdo the $2 shots).

Crossing

Serving steampunk realness with a cozy, inclusive twist. Known for welcoming the trans community with open arms, it’s a hidden gem with serious character and charm.

Phoenix Bar

Calling all leather lovers and bear babes! Phoenix is dark, mysterious, and open 24/7. Head upstairs for a little adventure—or just enjoy the vibe downstairs with your people.

Bottom Line

Whether you're gay, lesbian, trans, bi, intersex, queer, questioning (or anywhere in between!), friend or ally, you and yours should come as you are. After all, diversity in gender, sexuality and celebratory spirits is what makes PRIDE so incredible year after year. If you happen to be in NOLA during June, come out to Pride weekend New Orleans and celebrate with over 75,000 Pride-goers to celebrate our community's accomplishments and continued fight for equality.

Can't wait to see you there.
