Metro Manila Pride Festival & Parade

Come out and celebrate Pride in Manila all weekend long! Festivities will begin Friday night throughout the city, but the festival and parade both take place all day and night Saturday.

Metro Manila Pride Details

Metro Manila Pride is the Philippines’ largest LGBTQ+ celebration, drawing over 100,000 attendees each June. Known as the first-ever Pride march in Asia, the movement began in June 1984, and has since evolved into a powerful blend of protest, celebration, and community.

Taking place during the last week of June, Metro Manila Pride now spans a week of parties, cultural events, and workshops, all leading up to the highly anticipated Pride March.

While there’s plenty of music, dancing, and fun, the heart of Metro Manila Pride remains rooted in activism and the ongoing fight for equality and freedom from discrimination. The Pride March features a colorful street fair, community hangouts, live performances, and DJ sets that continue into the evening. Events usually begin around 10 am and roll on late into the night.
