Berghain is the elusive techno temple of Berlin. The club so exclusive that even the bouncer's facial expressions are protected by GDPR regulations. Stepping into Berghain is like entering a parallel universe where time is irrelevant, and the only language spoken is the bass of the music. The building was allegedly once a power plant, but now it's a powerhouse of electronic music and hedonistic debauchery. The interior is a minimalist masterpiece, adorned with nothing but concrete and steel, and half-naked bodies writhing to the beat.

But beware, dear party-goer, for Berghain is not for the faint of heart. The line to get in is long (so get there early or get ready to wait in line for sometimes hours) and the dress code is strict, so dress appropriately - we recommend black and usually leather. But once you make it past the fortress-like entrance, you'll be rewarded with a sonic experience that will knock your socks off!

The dance floor is a sea of sweaty bodies, lost in a trance induced by the techno DJ gods. And if you need a break from the sensory overload, there's always the infamous darkroom, where inhibitions are left at the door and anything goes.

At the top of the venue is Panorama Bar, the more straight/LGBTQ+ mixed space where the beats are a little more relaxed and is usually going til day break and beyond!

So, if you're ready to dance the night away (or the weekend), and you don't mind the occasional curious glance from a leather-clad stranger, then Berghain is the place for you while in Berlin. Just don't forget to bring your dancing shoes and your sense of wild adventure.
