Show off the LGBTQ+ community’s love, hope, and diversity—and of course, our commitment to having an amazing time. This is the chance to promote, loudly and proudly, self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, and visibility where and when it counts.

VA Pridefest is about to serve up more sparkle than a disco ball at Studio 54! Returning to the Bon Secours Training Center on Saturday, this fabulous fête is presented by OutRVA, and honey, it’s the place to be. From noon until 8 pm, you’ll be treated to a jam-packed day of jaw-dropping performances, a vendor market with over 130 booths to explore (retail therapy, anyone?), and the Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion that’s bursting with family-friendly activities for the young and the young at heart.

But let’s talk about the Main Stage, where the talent is stacked higher than your favorite pair of platform boots. Crystal Waters and Robin S will bring those classic grooves, Tank and the Bangas will have you vibing all day, and for the Drag Race stans, brace yourself for Mistress Isabelle Brooks and Kennedy Davenport! Of course, we can’t forget the reigning royalty—Mr., Miss., and Mx. VA Pride—who will be showing up and showing out. DJ Lez Pop will keep the beats bumping, while Landon Elliott and Bryce Bowen sprinkle some local flavor into this epic lineup. And as if that wasn’t enough, the legendary Dashaun Wesley is hosting, making sure the energy stays sky-high.

Godfrey's is a casual spot by day and lively party destination by night. Their Drag Sunday brunch never fails to attract crowds and is not one to be missed! Godfrey's draws an incredibly diverse crowd, with people from all walks of life. Fallout is one of the few alternative nightclubs that spins techno, punk and alternative music. Weekly events include a range of themed parties and attracts an eclectic crowd that is very energetic and the dancefloors are usually fairly busy. Barcode is a local watering hole that isn't the most glamorous of venues but it's full of character and personality. The atmosphere is social and relaxed so a great spot to mingle with locals. If your wallet is in need of a break, they have great happy hours here and are some of the best you can find. Babe's of Carytown is a firm favorite with gay locals and visitors in Richmond. From Sunday brunch to karaoke and hilarious drag shows, so no prizes for guessing why it's a popular neighborhood hangout! All the gay bars usually have special events around VA Pride, so take your pick and explore the fun.
