Taipei Rainbow Festival

Three days of rainbow-fueled revelry at the Taipei Rainbow Festival, taking over the North Plaza of Ximen Red House, the city’s beloved gayborhood. Live music, cultural showcases, shopping, parties, socials, and plenty of sparkle! If you're looking for the soul of Taipei Pride, this is where it is.

Taipei Pride Parade

Get ready as over 180,000 proud souls take to the streets for one of Asia’s largest LGBTQ+ parades. Starting and ending at Taipei City Hall, this high-energy march winds through the city in a dazzling display of unity, color, and love.

The main stage and community booths await at the finish line, shining a spotlight on incredible LGBTQ+ organizations doing the good work year-round.

The parade kicks off at 2 pm, with two fabulous routes departing from Ketagalan Boulevard near the Presidential Office.

North Route: City Hall to Renai Rd. then to Dunhua S. Rd. and then Zhongxiao E. Rd. to Yixian Rd. and back to City Hall.

South Route: City Hall to Ren'ai Rd. then Guangfu S. Rd. to Xinyi Rd. and then Dunhua S. Rd. to Ren’ai Rd. and back to City Hall.

Taipei Pride Village

Aferwards, the Pride Village outside City Hall comes alive with performances, pop-ups, and party vibes all day long. Stick around after the parade—because the after-party doesn’t clock out until well into the night. All the Taipei gay bars and LGBTQ+ places will be throwing special Pride parties and events!

Taipei Gayborhood

Taipei’s gay scene is packed with queer personality and plenty to explore. Head to the legendary Red House District, where over 20 gay bars serve up everything from chill cocktails to dancefloor booty shaking. Add in three bumping gay clubs and a lineup of epic Pride Weekend parties, and you've got a city that knows how to celebrate every shade of fabulous.

Bear Junkies - Popular haven for the bears, cubs and their admirers in town.

Hero Bar - Bar and club with themed nights that is hugely popular with locals.

Matt Bar - Trendy and fun karaoke bar, found in the Zhongshan District.

Commander D - Gay cruisy bar popular with locals, located in the Wanhua District.

TABOO - Main club for the lesbian and female community in Taipei.

G.Star - One of the most popular LGBTQ+ dance clubs in the city, will be packed during Pride!

SOL Cafe - The sister cafe to SOL bistro, this is one of the more relaxed gay bars if you want something a little less crazy.
