Roma Pride (Rome Pride)

Be a part of Roma Pride in the Eternal City of Rome to show off the LGBTQ+ community’s love, hope, and diversity—and of course, our commitment to having any amazing time. In all seriousness though, this is the chance to promote, loudly and proudly, self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, and visibility where and when it counts.

Pride Parade

Start Time: 3:30 PM​

Route: Kicks off at Piazza della Repubblica and marches through the heart of Rome, passing iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, before culminating at Piazza Venezia.​

Expect: A dazzling display of floats, DJs, muscled dancers, and a sea of over 150,000 proud LGBTQ+ participants and spectators. ​

Pride Park

Location: Giardino delle Terme di Traiano​

Highlights: Daily events from 6 pm, featuring music, art, performances, and cultural talks.​

Bonus: Enjoy breathtaking views of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill from this 11-hectare archaeological garden.

Official After-Parties

Muccassassina: Rome's legendary LGBTQ+ club night at Qube, known for its extravagant themes and three floors of non-stop dancing.​

GIAM: A massive Saturday night party at Planet Roma, attracting a diverse and energetic crowd.​

Gay Street Parties

Location: Via San Giovanni in Laterano, affectionately known as "Gay Street," located near the Colosseum.​

Post-parade, this area becomes the epicenter of celebration, with the gay bars and LGBTQ+ clubs, hosting special Pride events that keep the party going into the early hours of the morning that often spills onto the streets.

Coming Out: A staple of Rome's LGBTQ+ scene since 2001, offering a lively atmosphere and a prime drinking location near the Colosseum.

​Company Roma: Popular with bears and their admirers, featuring a basement bar, music, and a smoking room. ​

Frutta e Verdura: - Gay dance club that does late after hours, usually throws special pride events over weekend.

Gay Cruisy Bars

Black Hole Club: A cruisy gay bar and labyrinth featuring cabins, known for its diverse themed nights.​

K Men Club: A gay cruise club with playrooms and cabins, attracting mainly a clientele in their thirties and forties.

Censured: A small gay cruise bar in the heart of Rome, offering an intimate setting for late-night encounters.​

Il Diavolo Dentro: Located in the east of Rome, this gay sex club features a bar, play areas, cabins, and slings.​
