Join fellow pride-goers in the Scottish capital to celebrate one of the biggest LGBTQ+ events in Scotland for Pride Edinburgh.

Pride Edinburgh promises to be a fabulous celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, celebrating every color of the rainbow. The event has a long and storied history dating back to the mid 1990s when the first pride march was held in Edinburgh. Since then, the event has grown in popularity and size, drawing crowds from across Scotland and beyond.

Pride Details

The festivities are set to take place in the heart of Edinburgh, with a wide range of activities and events planned to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds. The highlight of the event is the parade itself, which will wind its way through the historic streets of Edinburgh. Expect to see rainbow galore, music, and dancing as people come together to celebrate their identities and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. The parade will feature floats, banners, and costumes representing a diverse array of LGBTQ+ identities, as well as allies and supporters.

After the parade, the party continues at Teviot Row House and Potterrow Dome. Here, you'll find a range of stalls, food and drink vendors, and entertainment stages featuring a mix of local and international performers. There will be music, comedy, drag shows, and much more, all designed to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the LGBTQ+ community.

Edinburgh has a vibrant gay scene - the Pink Triangle - centered around the top of Leith Walk, right off Princes Street, where most of the venues are located.

LGBTQ+ Bars & Clubs in Town

The popular local spots around town include - The Regent, Paradise Palms, Theatre Royal Bar, CC Blooms, Woodland Creatures, and Habana.

Bisexual & Gay Sauna

There is only one gay sauna in the city - Steamworks for you adventurous patrons.

Why Pride is Important

Pride Edinburgh is also an opportunity to reflect on the history of the LGBTQ+ rights movement and to acknowledge the challenges that still need to be overcome. The event will feature a range of talks, workshops, and exhibitions exploring issues such as discrimination, homophobia, and transphobia, as well as celebrating the achievements of the LGBTQ+ community.

So whether you're LGBTQ+ yourself or an ally, Pride Edinburgh promises to be an unforgettable celebration of diversity, inclusion, and equality. Come and join the party, and help us create a world where everyone is free to be themselves!
