It all began on Saturday, September 15th, 1973, when Adelaide beamed with rainbow-colored awesomeness as part of the epic "Gay Pride Week" festivities sweeping across Australia's capital cities. The parade was small but a sight to behold, with marchers flaunting individual letters to spell out "Gay Pride" like a sassy alphabet soup. And that's not all, darling! Banners galore fluttered in the wind, proudly declaring "Homosexual Liberation" and showing unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.

But wait, the fun doesn't stop there! Fast forward to the present, and we have the legendary Pride March Adelaide, happening annually since 2003. In the vibrant month of November, the city bursts at the seams with LGBTQ+ love and celebration. The streets are teeming with thousands of queer friends and family, strutting their stuff and embracing their fabulous identities.
