Charleston Pride is going to be one of the most vibrant and exciting events of the year! As one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the Southeast United States, it promises to be a fantastic display of love, inclusivity, and community spirit.
Event Details
The event will take place in the charming city of Charleston, known for its historic architecture, beautiful beaches, and lively culture. And with its open-minded and accepting population, Charleston is the perfect place to host pride.
The Pride weekend Charleston festivities will kick off with a colorful parade down King Street, one of Charleston's most popular thoroughfares. Floats adorned with rainbow flags and balloons will pass by, while marchers dance to the energetic beats of music. The parade is an excellent opportunity to show support for the LGBTQ+ community and to celebrate the progress made towards equality.
Come out and support Charleston Pride, the LGBTQ+ community and our allies to raise awareness for equality, strength and love for one another. So mark your calendars and get ready to paint the town rainbow!
Pride Parade
The Charleston Pride Parade kicks off at King Street as the parade runs through the heart of downtown, the route goes from Ann Street down King Street to Broad Street and then to Colonial Lake. Come watch and support local LGBTQ+ groups, rainbow colored floats and brightly decorated vehicles as the procession winds through the streets of Charleston!
