Join the festivities and celebrate with thousands of fellow pride-goers at Pride weekend Boise, demonstrating our community's pride for over 30 years.

Boise Pride Festival is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and its diverse and vibrant culture. The event is held at Cecil D. Andrus Park, featuring a range of activities, including live music performances, dance parties, drag shows, food and drink vendors, and more. If you are new to Boise, downtown and the North End districts are the more LGBTQ+ friendly areas of the city.

Pride Details

One of the most exciting aspects of this year's event is the lineup of headlining performers. From up-and-coming local talent to internationally renowned stars, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The festival's organizers secure great entertainment for attendees, and promise to deliver another year of amazing experiences.

The main event of Boise Pride Festival is the parade itself. Thousands of people will come together to march through the city streets, waving rainbow flags and wearing bright, fun-filled costumes. The parade will be a celebration of love, acceptance, and equality, and it will be a chance for LGBTQ+ people and their allies to come together in a show of solidarity.

As the day unfolds, attendees will have their pick of an array of entertainment options. From live music performances by local and national acts to drag shows and dance parties, there will be no shortage of ways to let loose and have a good time. And for those who are looking for something a bit more low-key, there will be plenty of educational and informative workshops, as well as opportunities to connect with local LGBTQ+ organizations and resources. And of course, no pride event would be complete without a dazzling array of food and drink options. From hot dogs and burgers to vegan fare and craft cocktails, and for those who want to indulge their sweet tooth, there will be plenty of ice cream, candy, and other treats to go around.

Why Pride Is Important

But perhaps the most important aspect of Boise Pridefest is the sense of community and camaraderie that permeates the entire event. For one day, people from all walks of life come together to celebrate love, acceptance, and diversity. It's a reminder that no matter who we are or where we come from, we are all deserving of respect, equality, and the freedom to be ourselves.

So if you're looking for a fun, inclusive, and uplifting experience in Boise, mark your calendar for Boise Pride Festival. It is time to show off the LGBTQ+ community’s love, hope, and diversity—and of course, our commitment to having an amazing time. This is the chance to promote, loudly and proudly, self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, and visibility where and when it counts. After all, diversity in gender, sexuality and inclusivity is what makes pride so incredible year after year. Can't wait to see you and your friends in the "City of Trees" to help celebrate another wonderful year of Boise Pride Festival!
