Bangkok Pride, one of the most anticipated LGBTQ+ celebrations in Southeast Asia, transforms Thailand’s capital into a rainbow hub of diversity and joy every June. Known as one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world, Bangkok hosts a month-long series of parties, events, and a colorful parade that draws in hundreds of thousands of visitors from Thailand and around the globe.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, where Bangkok Pride celebrated Marriage Equality with two major parades, the 2025 edition promises to be even more spectacular. Expect an expanded lineup of queer events, from gay circuit parties to cultural gatherings, with additional celebrations extending to Koh Samui and Phuket. June in Bangkok is all about embracing love, equality, and inclusivity, and everyone is invited to join the month-long festivities for Pride.
The highlight of Bangkok Pride is the amazing Naruemit Pride Parade, set to take place on Sunday, June 1st, 2025. The parade kicks off at 2 pm at the National Stadium Supachalasai and winds its way through the city’s bustling streets. Participants will march past iconic landmarks such as the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Siam Discovery, Siam Center, and Siam Paragon, before making a detour at the Ratchaprasong intersection and concluding in front of centralwOrld at 8 pm. This procession is a powerful statement of love, unity, and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights, especially in Asia.
For those planning to attend, check out the top hotels along Silom Road in the Bangkok's gayborhood of Silom, perfectly situated to enjoy the parade and after-party festivities. And if you're looking to make the most of your time in the city, our guide to gay Bangkok has you covered with a full listings of LGBTQ+ events, gay bars, queer clubs and other fun things to do during Pride month.

Here are some of our picks for LGBTQ+ places to try - FORK & CORK is a long-standing, gay-owned and operated restaurant/bar that's a trendy LGBTQ+ gem to start the night off at. Serving up delicious Thai dishes and delightful cocktails, this gay bar and restaurant is perfect for kicking off your evening with style and taste. The iconic Stranger Bar is a unique gay bar that has a mezzanine, it’s the perfect place to people-watch and soak in the lively atmosphere, see a drag show, and dance it up while in town. DJ Station is Bangkok’s hottest gay bar and club. Known worldwide among gay travelers, this is the ultimate party destination in town. The club is just a short walk from Soi Silom 4, DJ Station is part of a lively cluster of bars sharing a single alleyway entrance so you can hit more than one gay bar while out in Silom. Don’t be puzzled by the queue – it’s all part of the experience or just ask if you need help.
Facing DJ Station (and sometimes a gay chillout spot to get off the dancefloor), Bangkok Espresso Bar has a more relaxed atmosphere to people watch or get out of the heat! Bangkok Espresso Bar in Bangkok is relaxed on the weekdays. However, the sofas, tables and chairs are subject to removal when the venue gets crowded, especially on the weekends. If you are ready to go all out, G Bangkok (formerly G.O.D.) is the city’s top after-hours gay club, just a block away from DJ Station. Officially kicking off after midnight, the real action starts around 2 am when the other queer bars close. Get ready for flashing lights, shirtless men, and an electrifying circuit party vibe. During Bangkok Pride all of the city's gay bars and clubs throw special events to celebrate, so take your pick, and have so much fun during Pride!
