An LGBTQ Nashville OUT Saturday Guide
A Day & Night OUT in bustling Nashville
Nashville is known as one of the top music spots in the United States, but what many people are unaware of is that Nashville brings a fierce LGBTQ+ community that loves to have fun and celebrate being queer, despite the conservative energy in the surrounding areas. Church Street is commonly known as "the center of gay life in Nashville,” where many of the LGBTQ+ bars can be found along with a smattering of gay places in East Nashville. We have created a day and night OUT guide for you to experience some of the best Nashville gay bars around town, so hold on to your cowboy hats and get ready to boot scootin boogie through this exciting city!
Suzy Wong's Drag’N Brunch
12:45 - 3 pm (the waiting area for brunch is next door at Tribe)

First up on the menu of fabulousness is Suzy Wong’s House of Yum, a gay haven where chicken waffles meet glitzy drag performances.
Suzy has created a really unique Nashville Drag Brunch that offers Asian-infused brunch with liquid libations and drag queens in an upbeat atmosphere. Imagine a delicious spectacle of Asian fusion and comfort food wrapped in campy vibes. Each seating includes the one-of-a-kind interactive show with three great drag queens, shared appetizers for you and your friends, plus your choice of individual entree!
Tribe
3 - 6:30 pm

Walk right into Tribe (next door to Suzy Wong’s) after Drag’N Brunch for some pre-dinner cocktails and mingling.
Tribe is one of the hottest gay bars in Nashville, featuring cocktails & some tasty pub food. For some liquid courage, get a shooter of Peach Emoji, and then follow it up with a refreshing Mojito! If you are hungry, we recommend the BBQ Chicken Flatbread with its tangy sauce, Chicken Wings with Garlic Teriyaki, and you must try Fried Pickles with ranch! This is a Southern delicacy and a surprisingly delicious wave of yumminess for your tastebuds. One thing to note - All of the bars in Nashville are required by law to have food, so get a snack if that belly starts rumbling or you need to sober up before din din. Time to head home and do an outfit change, take a cat nap, or whatever floats your boat!
Shower/Outfit Change/Regroup
6:30 - 8 pm
Golden Pony
8 - 10 pm

The next stop is the Golden Pony, an inclusive LGBTQ Nashville cocktail bar with an outside patio perfect for sipping cocktails and having a few elevated food plates before heading out to kick up those heels!
We recommend the Not So Sloppy Josephine and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich for chicken lovers. There are also a few vegan and gluten-free options for those with allergies, which few gay bars have in Nashville. For cocktail deliciousness, pick one of these three delicious Agua Frescas - cucumber cantaloupe, carrot orange, or strawberry watermelon - and pair it with your favorite alcohol! When you are ready to rally the troops and head out to dance, make your way out to the LGBTQ+ dance spot Play!
Play
10:15 pm - 3 am

End the night off in the heart of Church Street (where many of the Nashville gay bars are located) at Play Nightclub!
It is the best Nashville gay club where the beats abound, the dance floor is always packed on Friday and Saturday nights, and the bartenders are downright irresistible. This lively venue never has a dull moment, boasting a top-notch lineup of drag shows, electrifying celebrity DJ sets, and even appearances by your favorite adult film stars, VIP booths and tables are available for a bite to eat if that stomach needs sustenance. It's the kind of place that makes you want to take off your shirt and dance like nobody's or everybody’s watching, whatever your pleasure. While the crowd is predominantly male, Play Nightclub welcomes the whole vibrant LGBTQ+ Nashville community, ensuring everyone has a night to remember. Dance and party til you drop… or 3 am, which is when clubs are legally required to close. And remember last call is 3 am so get that last drinkie in before the last dry hour. Once you get done dancing your titties off, head over to Cook Out for some late-night munchies.
Cook Out
Open til 5 am

After you dance the night away and are ready for some scrumptious and greasy food to soak up that alcohol, make your way to Cook Out.
Cook Out in Nashville is a late-night culinary haven for burger aficionados and night owls alike. Open until the wee hours, this iconic Southern chain is there to satisfy those post-midnight munchies. Their signature char-grilled burgers are great, offering a smoky, juicy delight with every bite, (especially after the club). But the burger bliss doesn’t stop there. Cook Out’s array of sides is equally impressive. Their hushpuppies and Cajun fries are fan favorites, providing the perfect crispy complement to your burger. And let’s not forget their creamy, dreamy milkshakes—available in a staggering variety of flavors, from classic chocolate and strawberry to unique concoctions like peach cobbler and banana pudding. Then go home and delve into the dream world or just pass out!
