In 2025, Washington, DC will mark a historic milestone—50 years of Pride celebrations! As the host of WorldPride 2025, the Capital Pride Alliance invites the global LGBTQ+ community to come together for an unforgettable celebration in the heart of the nation’s capital.
There will be a spectacular lineup of events, cultural programs, and fun festivities that showcase the best of Washington DC. From electrifying music and film showcases to iconic landmarks like the National Mall and Embassy Row, WorldPride DC 2025 will be a dynamic fusion of history, culture, and pride. The main Pride weekend events will be held from June 6 - 8, with the famous DC Block Party!
The Pride Parade will be held on June 7th, stepping off at 1 pm from 14th Street and T Street, NW.
This year the iconic Capital Pride Parade will evolve into the WorldPride Parade, a powerful tribute to the historic Pride movement. This beloved tradition not only celebrates our past but also honors the growth and resilience of LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC.
